Northern Powerhouse Media offer funeral streaming services to all locations in Manchester, the North West and beyond. Not every ceremonial location has streaming facilities and not every streaming service offer the same feature set.
For whatever reason friends and family are not able to attend a loved one’s funeral, our live video streaming service aims to allow remote viewers the chance to be present in the moment experiencing the ceremony as a seamless broadcast-style video event.

Broadcast Style Filming
Sometimes, work and personal matters stop family and friends being able to watch ‘live’. Our live streams are recorded and accessible after the service ends so people can watch in their own time. We believe your ceremony is an important memory. We use multiple cameras to create a seamless live edit, focusing on what matters most in the moment. All of our live streams are produced in Full HD.
Digital Order Of Service
The printed ‘order of service’ is often referred to throughout ceremonies for tributes, readings and congregational prayer. We use elegant split screens to display ‘order of service’ texts enabling remote viewers to participate.
TV’s, Videos & SlideShows
Occasionally, family or friends who cannot attend wish to say a tribute or reading. We can provide a TV screen/projector to play video readings and tributes. Another popular option is to have a photo slideshow play on screen during the ceremony reflective music. We can take care of creating your photo slideshow and editing any video tributes so that they play smoothly at the right time.

FAQs
How do my family and friends access our live stream?
We will send you a link which can easily be shared by text, email or phone. The link will open a bespoke memorial page containing access to the live stream and any important information from your ‘order of service’.
Can family or friends re-watch the service after it has been streamed live?
Yes! Your service will remain online and can be accessed from the bespoke memorial page. After the ceremony has ended, the memorial page is updated with options to re-watch or download a copy of the video recording.
Can a family member who cannot attend say a video tribute?
We can facilitate live tributes over video calling software, we do however recommend pre-recording the message, reading or tribute and sending it to us to display on a TV or projector. Anyone attending in person will see this as well as people watching the live stream.
How does the TV slideshow service work?
Simply send us a collection of photos or videos and we will take care of creating the slideshow/montage. You can scan/send your photos with any popular sharing method. We are here to assist you if you need help with this.
How long do you need to setup?
We can setup streaming and stream equipment within 10 minutes. We can speak with your church/crematorium or funeral director to check arrival times ahead of the ceremony.
Can we get a physical copy of the video?
We understand not everyone can access the internet. Our streaming service doubles as a ‘videography’ service and we can provide physical copies of the high quality recording on DVD’s or USB’s upon request.
How to book and what information do you need?

We will ask for some details including: Names, Ceremony Date/Location, Funeral Home or Directors Company Name. We can then can contact the right people if we need any additional information. For photo/video slideshows, we will help you find the best method to send your files to us to be formatted for the stream and screen.
